Introducing Pipeline Brickell member and web entrepreneur Cedric Geffroy, who designs and operates several ecommerce websites.  A native of Maisons-Laffitte, a beautiful city 15km from Paris, France, he studied engineering in college and earned a master’s in Mechatronics (Robotics).

Graduating amidst the economic downturn of 2008, Cedric had a difficult time finding a job in the automotive industry in France, resulting in his decision to pursue the entrepreneurial route. He launched his first company focused on website creation, www.cedricgeffroy.fr.

Two years later, he joined Renault, the French car maker, as an automotive engineer and was in charge of the last tests on prototypes prior to production.

But in 2012, Cedric decided to return to entrepreneurship and embark on a new journey. He sold his apartment in France and set out to pursue his own American dream, buying two one-way tickets for him and his girlfriend, Magalie, to Miami.

His first venture here was launching an ecommerce website selling car air filters with a partner. He sold his share of the company this past April and is now focused on two new ecommerce ventures: Gazzz.com, which offers high-tech accessories for motorcycles to the European market, and Crazy-Rainbow.com, which offers DIY rubber band kits (like Rainbow Loom) for children bracelets and accessories in the North American market.

Both Cedric and Magalie have become part of the Pipeline family and most recently, celebrated their first year in the US with a crepe party in the Cafe. If you have the opportunity to come by whenever Magalie makes crepes, it’s something you can’t miss!
