It was an honor for Pipeline to host former Miami Mayor Manny Diaz last week to discuss his career in public service and his vision for the future of Miami.  Beyond providing shared workspace, Pipeline frequently hosts thought leaders and dignitaries to share their views on a range of topics.

Mayor Diaz fielded questions from members of Belen Alumni Association and Pipeline about Miami’s need to focus on innovation and entrepreneurship in the city’s central business district, including Brickell. Manny Diaz was mayor starting in 2001, so he brought his unique personal perspective on Miami’s trajectory and need to diversify its economy in order to compete with rival cities such as Shanghai, London and Madrid.
